Three Ways to Give
Choose whichever is easiest. Every contribution is recorded and receipted by the campaign, and you'll need that receipt to claim your rebate.
Send an e-Transfer
Send an Interac e-Transfer from your online banking to the campaign email. Put your full name and home address in the message so the contribution can be receipted.
Write a Cheque
Make your cheque payable to Alexandra Caldwell Campaign. Get in touch and a member of the team will arrange to pick it up.

Oakville's Campaign Contribution Rebate Program returns half of your contribution if you're an eligible elector living in Oakville. A $100 contribution costs you $50; a $500 contribution costs you $250. Applications are handled through the Town after the election, using the receipt the campaign gives you.
Contribution Rules
Contributions must comply with Ontario's municipal election rules under the Municipal Elections Act.
View official contribution rules →- Only eligible individual contributors may make contributions. You must be a resident of Ontario.
- Corporations, businesses and trade unions cannot make contributions.
- Individuals may contribute up to $1,200 to a single candidate, and up to $5,000 in total to candidates running for the same council.
- Contributions must be properly recorded and receipted by the campaign. Include your full name and home address with your contribution.
- Political contributions are not tax deductible, but eligible Oakville electors may qualify for the Town's 50% rebate.
